Flying, running, racing—without injury
Recently I mentioned to a friend that I had started training for a marathon. She asked me a question that many people ask when they find out I like to run: “What do you do about knee injuries?” “I pray,” I said with a smile.
It made me think back on the numerous experiences I’ve had training for marathons and triathlons where I haven’t been hurt because I never accepted injury as an inherent part of one’s experience.
I’m finding that the truths of Christian Science allow one to live a life free of human shackles.
