God is Love

For the lesson titled "Love" from July 25-31, 2011

In the Middle Ages, while much of the Western world practiced monotheism, there was still a question of God’s existence. Thus began the ontological arguments for the existence of God, beginning with the defense from Anselm of Canterbury (1033–1109). In the ancient world, it wasn’t a matter of whether God existed or not, but which God should be worshipped.

This week’s Bible Lesson, titled “Love,” offers a response to the two questions, “Which God do we worship?” and “How do we know God exists?”
