Psalm of praise
Tune me, O Lord, for I am Your song.
Make me Your instrument—I am Your praise.
Your glory crashes in timpani of thunder,
Flutes in the mockingbird’s song,
Soars as the wind wails through the maple,
Exults in the surge of the tide.
Let my voice lilt the melody of grace,
My acts weave the counterpoint of love.
You are Life—let my living extol You.
You are Mind—let my knowing reflect,
My wisdom express.
You are the light—let me praise You in shining.
As the prisms of rain explode the white sunbeam
Into glorious blaze of the spectrum,
As the crystal squeezes light rays to ignition,
So let my being reveal You.
You are Love, and I am Your loving.
Let my love embrace Your creation,
my joy uplift,
my sacrifice release,
my passion inspire.
You are all—let me blend in Your radiance
And praise You in song.
