I was especially touched by Eugene Peterson’s dedication to his wife in his latest book, Practice Resurrection: A Conversation on Growing Up in Christ: “For Jan—yoked together in love for fifty years in the practice of resurrection.”

That says a lot about love, and provokes plenty of questions about resurrection, which can feel a bit remote from our dazzling digital world, in which satellite-guided weapons of many kinds have replaced swords and shields.
