Keep an eye on your baggage
As I think back to a trip I took with my husband across the United States several years ago, I’m reminded that the act of watching our thoughts brings blessings to our lives.
During that trip, every airport broadcast the same message throughout our several hours of waiting for flights: “You are advised to keep an eye on your belongings at all times. Baggage left unattended is subject to confiscation.”
Standard airport procedure requires preapproval of everything carried onto the planes. The contents of all baggage—carry-on belongings, like purses and brief cases, as well as suitcases and luggage destined for the cargo area—are carefully scrutinized to eliminate anything potentially harmful.
