Say no to ups and downs

A summer backpacking trip to Europe brings opportunities for spiritual growth.

DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU'RE RIDING A ROLLER COASTER? At one moment, you're as happy as you could possibly be, and at the next moment, you're feeling sad and frustrated. A friend of mine recently made that analogy about her life. She feels like some days everything goes completely right, and she can feel God's tangible presence. However, the next moment, something comes up that makes her doubt that God's goodness can ever have been real at all.

I trusted that God was constantly directing and providing for us, so we would have everything we needed.
