THE GOOD SHEPHERD

"I am the good shepherd,

And know my sheep."John 10:14 Prodigal and pauper,
Spendthrift or spend-deep,
Wasted or waster.

The Shepherd knows each:
Having the grace within
To see and to reach
The kingdom of heaven.

Love embraces our being
And uncovers all wealth.
It does all enabling
And folds each to itself,

Leading us, gently, home.
