NEVER TOO LATE

God and His word are always close
for those who seek. He does not keep
Himself apart, but strengthens those
who yearn for truth by sending angel,
light, or prayer even when steps
have gone astray.

God knows no rebel flight, no prodigal
or jealous one, no family fractured by
a wilderness of dark despair. His child
is not a sinner trying to return
but a beloved son.

God is our Father-Mother who redeems,
dawn after dawn, those who may roam
or stay, in time of trust or doubt.
A heart that listens hears the voice:
"My love for you is unconditional.
If you don't understand, please come
home anyway. It never is too late;
come home, come home."
