DANCING SKY

How often city dwellers hurry through life with their heads down, looking only where they're going. They fail to notice the sky and the clouds and so much beauty above them.

I spend a lot of time taking photographs on the north Norfolk coast of England, where the landscape is quite flat. It offers the bonus of wonderful, big skies that can be seen for miles. And that's where I took this photograph.

I was sitting on the edge of the sea, so completely absorbed in the setting sun and the cloud formations that I almost missed this shot! I was watching the clouds dance around in the sky, and it made me reflect on what I can only describe as their freedom.
