When I was running with my friends . . .
One Monday, when I was running with my friends in the schoolyard, I twisted my ankle. It really hurt, and it was hard to walk. But I didn't cry.
Right away I started praying to God and said the Lord's Prayer to myself. Then the bell rang, and we all went back to class. I didn't say anything to the teacher about my ankle.
At five o'clock, when I got home, my ankle was all swollen, and I was limping. My mom comforted me. She said that God made me to walk uprightly, and that I was moving perfectly in His love. Because I'm God's image, as the Bible says,
I'm spiritual and perfect.
Mom and I kept praying like that. And I was starting to feel better.
The next morning, my ankle was fine, because God had healed me. Two days later, I was playing soccer as usual with my friends in the schoolyard.
