what would you do?

QUESTION: kids at school can be mean to each other. Sometimes you come home from school upset because of something somebody said or did. What do you do?

At school, I had been having trouble with some friends on the playground. When I talked to my mom about it, I said I just wasn't going to play with them anymore. Mom said that was fine, but she said not to look over at those kids without having a good feeling about them.

On the playground the next day, I thought about how God was always there to help me. If I was angry or upset, God was right there loving me and comforting me. And God loved everyone. I tried to think of my friends the way God made them—good and fair-minded and caring. And the next day we played together without any more problems.

Now I know God is always with me, and if I have any troubles, I can always turn to God.
