My two big healings
I'm eight years old, and I have two big healings to tell. My first healing was with my eyes. I was having trouble seeing words. So I went to the eye doctor and got glasses. I wore them for a few hours. Everything looked BIG.
When I came home, I took the glasses off because I couldn't see out of them. Mommy and I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. I also prayed. I listened to God. I told Mommy that I did not need the glasses to see because I knew that God had made me perfect. I was right. By later that day I didn't need the glasses and never wore them again.
The next healing I had was at Christmas. I went with my mommy and my brother to the neighbors' house to give them a Christmas gift. I was playing with their three dogs—hugging them and kissing them. As I reached over to kiss one, his head moved, and it cut my bottom lip badly. It was bleeding a lot. I started to cry. Mommy told me that I was safe, that God was right there with me. I was never away from God. I stopped crying. The bleeding stopped, too.
