What's there not to like about the Sentinel? I am so grateful for the entire contents of each issue. I used to read only the articles that I thought were of interest to me. Then recently I decided to read each and every article. The strange thing (not really) is that there are healing truths in every article, despite the title of the article or our quickly preconceived notion about what the article is about. Thank you so much for providing a quality publication that helps to spread the "good news" of the Christ and Christian Science.

Recently I shared a Sentinel and two articles from The Christian Science Monitor with a friend. The articles pertained to the religious views of other denominations. A few days later, this friend called. Why, she had never known of a religion that would allow space in its publications for the ideas of another belief system! She observed that the ideas in the Sentinel were "pure." Then she said she picked up Science and Health and began reading the chapter on "Prayer"—this after having had the book for two years without looking into it! Again, she found the concepts simple, yet profound. Truly, the Sentinel is a bridge for those who may have thought they weren't ready for the big guns.
