After my dad hurt his foot...
After my dad hurt his foot when he was running, he asked me to help him pray, and I went right to work. I decided to look up a couple of verses from the Bible. I went to Psalms to see if there was anything about feet. I like the psalms because they are very comforting. I first went to Psalm 23 and then went further into the Bible from there. One of my favorite quotes was "my foot standeth in an even place," because I liked thinking that no one could step out of God's care. The thoughts I shared with my dad helped heal his foot.
A few days later, I was over at my friend's house playing at the pool and suddenly stepped into the filter hole (which had been left uncovered). I hurt my leg pretty badly. I thought about the same ideas that I had shared with my dad, and in a couple of days I was perfectly healed.
Several months later my grandma came to take care of us for a week. She had hurt her leg so that she could barely walk. I shared with her the same thoughts that had helped my dad and me so much. It felt really good being able to help pray in all these incidents, and we saw quick results.
