I have a little rock on my desk that says, "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right."

I have learned from experience that if you think you can't do something, you're probably not going to see how to do it. On the other hand, if you think you can do something, then you're probably going to do that thing.

For example, we have this Playstation game called SSX Snowboarding, where you have to land your snowboarder in an upright position. There is a trick called "Misty" that I was having a very hard time doing. To do the trick, you have to press three different buttons on the controller at once.
