Let your Light Shine
Last summer, in Sunday School, we learned about praying for children around the world.
We decided to make a prayer poster. We began by looking for pictures of children in need. We cut out these pictures and glued them on the poster. Then we looked for verses from the Bible or from Science and Health that helped with the problems these children were having. And we put a verse under each picture. We found words like "The Lord is my shepherd" (Ps. 23:1). And, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).
We were learning that when we say these words and think about them quietly, they become prayers for children anywhere in the world who are in need.
