Jesus did—so can you

There are lots of Bible stories that tell about how Jesus went around helping both kids and grown-ups. He helped with small problems, and with big problems. He healed all kinds of diseases. He got people to stop doing bad thing. And he even raised people from death.

Jesus did all those wonderful things to show something important. He wanted everyone to know that God is our Father, who loves us more than we can even imagine. He wanted everyone to know that God makes us perfect. It may not seem that way sometimes, but it's true. God made us healthy and happy and good. He makes us spiritual.

How did Jesus heal? A book called Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, says he listened to God. God showed Jesus that we are all made in God's likeness, and that there's nothing in His creation that can hurt us. Jesus was so sure about how good God made us that he just couldn't believe anything else was true. Rather than seeing something wrong, Jesus understood that everyone was perfect like God.
