Celebrating love and family with snapshots and poems from you

Spoons

Spoons on noses,
hear them calling:
"Help us! Help us!
We are falling!"

Going around the open room:
 AJ with the biggest smile.
James
his height is hidden
sitting down.
I
am hot
in the summer's heat.
Annie,
Katie,
sleepy?
Maybe ... long night?
Talking?
Possibly.
In the middle
see someone
small,
all surrounded.
All the
cousins see her sitting,
staring.
Lips are quivering.
Little Mary Rose,
the one without a spoon.

Spoons on noses.
Hear them calling:
"Help us! Help us!"
Spoons are falling!
Mary Rose smiles.
Laughter all around.

A duet

A duet of joy
tightly together

big sister, little brother
sister, brother
us

still excitement
heart to heart
love

a little hand
a bigger hand
strong support

glowing trust
like the sun's rays.

A duet of joy
tightly together.
