Someone's calling your name—are you listening?
Have you ever heard someone speak in another language? Maybe you tried to listen really hard, but you just couldn't get what they were saying. Maybe they talked very slowly, or even raised their voice because they thought that you didn't hear them well. But you heard all right. You just didn't get what they were saying because they spoke in another language.
Listening to God might be that way at first. Sometimes you think you can't hear Him. Or you think you can't understand His language. But God always speaks to you. He is telling you good things. The things He says are like angels that can guide you in everything you do.
There is a true story about the woman who started the Sentinel, Mary Baker Eddy. One day, when she was about 8 years old, she heard a voice call her. She thought it was her mother calling, and went to see her. But it hadn't been her mom. Several other times she heard the same voice calling her name: "Mary, Mary!" One time even her cousin heard it, too.
