Cat gone missing? No!
My family has five cats. One I am especially attached to. It's a ginger cat called Ping Pong. When he was a few months old, he disappeared for several days. I started to worry. In my Sunday School class that week, I told my teacher what was happening. She said, "Know that God is with him. God would not let any of His creations get lost or injured." I just knew I wanted to see Ping Pong again.
When we got home, my dad went round to our neighbours' houses asking if he could look in their garden sheds. Later my mum and I went out to look for Ping Pong, too. Two of our other cats came with us, as if they were also trying to look, I thought.
Later I looked at Psalm 23 in my Bible. It says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me." Deep down I knew I should not be afraid that a car had run over Ping Pong or anything like that, because God loved him, and God's arms were around him keeping him safe.
