Hey, Kids...
This issue is a first. It's special. That's because it was written and designed especially for you and your friends.
We couldn't have put this issue together without your help. Many of you sent in letters. You gave us your thoughts, told us about your prayers, shared your healings. You picked up your paint brushes, colored pencils, and magic markers, and illustrated the 23rd Psalm...you sent over 300 drawings! It's been amazing to us. You've inspired us and made us happy because you are so creative and thoughtful and enthusiastic. We want to thank each of you!
Maybe you are reading the Sentinel for the first time ever. If so, think about what you can contribute to the next kids' issue. Maybe you sent in something that didn't get published this time. If so, don't be sad. Keep writing. Keep sharing. What counts is that you took part.
What you think and what you say are important to the Sentinel. It's important to the world. You shine light and love, and the world is a better place for it. Keep shining. We thank you—for being YOU.
