Thank you for the September 9 Sentinel article "Why we are not helpless" by Barbara Vining. Every word of it was helpful to me, as my daughter flew across country on Friday, September 13.
I am not superstitious, but on that Friday the US was on heightened alert, and I needed spiritual help to overcome my fears. This article reminded me that the word unknown is included in the Glossary of Science and Health (p. 596). The first part of this description reads: "Unknown. That which spiritual sense alone comprehends, and which is unknown to the material senses."
These were the healing words that I needed. How wonderful that some of the spiritual things unknown to me are totally knowable to God. And that everything that God knows, God also controls, protects, guides, and guards. God's laws enforce everything that God comprehends.
