the demand for HONESTY hits home
Maybe The Whole Debacle Started with a single lie. That thought occurred to me earlier this year as I watched Enron unravel as a company. Maybe it was a well-intentioned lie. But it didn't take me too long to start asking myself some difficult questions.
Do I stretch the truth sometimes because it seems harmless, or because I don't want to hurt someone's feelings?
Do I ever use exaggeration to make a personal accomplishment seem more significant?
