Hearing restored through prayer

Recently I experienced a gradual loss of hearing in one ear, accompanied by a continuous ringing, termed tinnitus. Years of experience with Christian Science had convinced me of the healing power of spiritual truth. And so I turned immediately to God for the inspiration that would lift my prayers to a broader understanding of what was true about my hearing as the child of God, made in His likeness. My study of the Bible and Science and Health, which took place over several months, was uplifting; but the hearing problem grew worse.

I prayed to replace those feelings with forgiveness and compassion.
