Allergy symptoms vanish
For several days I had felt the discomfort of itchy or weepy eyes. This was not distracting enough to really get my attention, until one evening when I was sitting at my computer waiting for the Web site spirituality.com to open up.
As I sat there with tears dripping from my eyes, the thought came to me that I had symptoms of a seasonal allergy as described by our local television weather forecasters when they gave the pollen count for the day. I had seen many springs, over many decades, without allergic reaction. It was clear to me that I didn't need to experience this discomfort now.
