I hope each reader reaches the last page of each issue, "From the editors." It's the icing on the cake. Having just read John Selover's editorial, "The first and last word," in the December 3 issue, I want to say thank you for this and all the others.

You've had a number of articles by soldiers telling of protection in times of war. I especially liked Jim Crafton's words "God bless us all" in his article "Propelled by spiritual insight" (November 12). I've frequently said the words "God bless the world" through this crisis.

I'd like to pose a question. During WW II, I was a B-24 bomber pilot, daily ferrying these bombers from the factory to points of embarkation, from where they were sent to Europe to bomb the enemy. As I felt that war was justified, I had no problem with this duty.
