WORKPLACE
In the blessing business
My attitude in life was changed.
What was I going to do with my life? What was going to become of me? I had asked myself these questions and similar ones many times while in school. I really had no idea what I wanted to do for the rest of my life except to "be happy" and make lots of money. (The latter would bring the former, I thought.)
In college, I was active in the Christian Science organization on campus, which really benefited me. Through its activities and my study of the Bible and Science and Health, I developed a better understanding of God and my relationship with Him. I felt I was doing God's will and blessing my fellow students. But when I graduated, I still had no sense of purpose or direction for the future.
I went into a business field that used my talents of physical dexterity and my business sense. I enjoyed the work somewhat, but still knew there was something missing.
