FROM DAD, with love

The man who wrote this letter gave us permission to share it with our readers. It's about a gift from the heart.

Dear Son,

The enclosed gift is about thirty years late. It is a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

You and I were separated early in your life. You were raised in an environment that was unwittingly hostile to the ideas presented in this book. Sadly, I lacked the moral courage to introduce you to its teachings.

In contemplating the many years when we were apart, I can tell you only that everything really worthwhile in my life has come about from the study of Science and Health. It has given me insight into the meaning of Bible.

It has brought me joy, satisfaction, love, substance, peace, and health that I have found nowhere else.

Hopefully this gift is "better late than never."
