A Gallup survey released by the John Templeton Foundation indicates that Americans see a positive connection between spirituality and science. According to the research results, 70% of the American public believes "increased global communications between cultures are the cause of increased enthusiasm for involvement in spiritual life."
Among respondents, 66% state that they believe an increase in the quality of spiritual practices or religious beliefs is important to guide the growing power of technology. In addition, 59% believe that scientific research on spiritual subjects such as love, purpose, gratitude, and humility is possible.
