More than three decades of spiritual healing

God has been my only physician and medicine since 1964, when I first read Science and Health. This book opened the Bible for me in its relevance, cured me of the habits of smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages, and began the process of changing my view of man and the world from a material to a spiritual one.

During this process, many fears, insecurities, and false character traits fell away and were replaced with confidence, peace, and great joy in the truth of perfect God and perfect man, and of everything in creation being the perfect, spiritual ideas of divine Mind.

After coming home from a two–week course of class instruction by a teacher of Christian Science, I was healed of a hemorrhoid condition when I realized that I was not just saying I was a child of God for the purpose of being healed, but that I really was and am the perfect and complete child of God—not physical and mortal, but spiritual and immortal.
