A healing on Mt. Washington
After I was married, my sister-in-law came to visit one weekend. She had been looking for a job in New York City for several weeks after completing a specialized training course there, and she was desperate. She contacted a Christian Science practitioner on Friday to pray for her while she tried to figure out what her next step should be. I prepared for a long-term houseguest. But on Monday, a telegram from Chicago arrived offering her a good job in her field—better than any she had been applying for.
My right foot went into a deep hole, and I ended up lying in the snow.
