Quick healing of injury
One Saturday evening my cat Simba ran right in front of me. I tripped and fell, landing with all my weight on my left ankle.
At first I was in a great deal of pain. I was also concerned about obligations I needed to fulfill the next day. I decided that what was really needed here was an immediate healing.
I sat quietly and prayed. I knew that God didn't know anything about accidents because He knows only good. And I remembered several instances in the Bible where healings had been immediate. For example, the Bible says that when St. Peter healed a man "immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God" (Acts 3:7, 8).
