Depression healed quickly
When I married and moved away from home, my study of Christian Science was put on the back burner. For 40 years I rarely frequented a church.
I performed as a trick and fancy rider in professional rodeo, which is considered a very dangerous sport. In one event a horse fell over backward with me, breaking my pelvis.
I was taken to the hospital for an X-ray, but I asked to be taken back to the rodeo grounds, where I was made comfortable. The doctors told me it would be at least 12 weeks before I could start riding again.
