Appreciation for the Sentinel,
old and new

Last week I saw a friend I hadn't seen in a while. I learned that a mutual acquaintance had recently experienced the sudden loss of her husband, and she was very concerned because the date he passed on was the same day as their nine-year-old daughter's birthday. She was afraid that what was normally celebrated with joy in their family would become an annual day of mourning. That night I went home and sat down with a couple of editions of the Sentinel. As I opened the first one, the article I found had to do with wiping grief off of the calendar. My friend was visiting two nights later, and I gave her that Sentinel to share with our acquaintance. She was very grateful, as am I. The articles are always timely, relevant, and well-written. This makes the Sentinel easy to read and share.
