How does the Science of Christ heal?

IN my early study of Christian Science, I was healed quickly of an internal condition that physicians had declared inoperable. This healing was accomplished solely through the study of the textbook of Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. For some time after, I wanted to know how simply reading this book had effected a cure.

What I learned is that healing is the power of God over the belief of ill health.
