Connections Between spirituality and the workplace continue to grow. The forms may vary from business to business, but they include more than just religious studies of the Bible. They influence how employees treat customers and fellow workers, and may even affect what companies produce.

Matthew Gilbert, author of Take This Job and Love It, supports this trend, saying that we need "to learn how to pray while punching a keyboard or [how to] turn paperwork into meditation."

An estimated 10% of management consultants are bringing a spiritual approach to their work with corporations. And although there are some exceptions, most employees believe spirituality in the workplace is a good idea.
