A few words about gossip

Think before you speak—or listen.

I used to spend too much time participating in idle chatter about others. Of course, when it came from someone else, it was "gossip," but when it came from me, it was "sharing."

The tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these thing ought not so to be. ... If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
James 3:8–10, 2
