GETTING TO KNOW GOD
I have been trying to gain a better understanding of God. My goal is to get to know my God instead of trying to worship an "unknown god," which leads nowhere. Before, I thought of God as practically human. I also had an image of God as very masculine. With this image of a big "Him," I was very skeptical and often questioned His existence.
Then an incredible revelation came to me that is so simple—God is Love! One day those words just hit me. I knew that in God's kingdom nothing exists but perfection and the truest sense of Love, Principle, and Mind. Through this simple realization, I could see how all things are possible to God and how He is our Father and Mother.
I have been really studying the chapter called "Prayer" in Science and Health, I love the idea that God's work is done, and we are provided with everything we need even before we ask. Knowing that God is Love and seeing Love reflected all around me is perfect proof that God exists and is present with me at all times.
