Boy healed of injury

One Sunday last spring, halfway into a soccer game, I went to strike the ball when another player tried to take the ball from me and hit my ankle hard with his foot. It hurt for about five minutes while I was still playing, but then the pain went away. Then, in the car, my ankle started to hurt again. It was hard to walk.

I thought the pain would go away again, but when I woke up the next morning, I couldn't put enough weight on my foot to walk. I crawled into the living room to call my dad. I told him about it, and he asked me if I wanted to call a Christian Science practitioner. I really didn't want to, but when he suggested calling my Sunday School teacher, I decided I would call her and talk to her about what had happened.
