Woman conquers pain
A few years ago my husband and I were on vacation. We were walking down a very old flight of brick stairs to enjoy a stroll on the beach. I slipped, fell backward, and hit several parts of my body, including my head and right ear, on the corner of a step. My husband helped me get up; I seemed quite lightheaded, and pain was shooting through my head.
As I got up I was declaring out loud, "I'm all right. I am all right!" We slowly continued down the walk while I prayed. My metaphysical treatment went something like this: I am a spiritual idea, a representative of God. The brick walk represented an idea of God. Spirit is substance, so there was no material substance in the body, head, or brick step to collide. And I did not need to fear the results of two spiritual ideas touching. Thank you, God!
By the time we reached the beach, there was no more pain. I was able to move freely and enjoy the walk and the rest of our vacation. There was never any bruising or discoloration on any part of my body.
