"This is Woman's Hour..."
The Life of Mary Baker Eddy
An exhibit at 118 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, New York
Discover the life story of Mary Baker Eddy—who was recently honored by both the National Women's Hall of Fame and the Women's National Book Association.
This is Woman's Hour... offers an insightful perspective on one of the seldom-told stories in women's history at the turn of the last century.
The exhibit illustrates Mrs. Eddy's achievements as a leading spiritual thinker, as a healer, and as a woman whose accomplishments were considered by many to be ahead of their time.
This is Woman's Hour... is one of many events celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first woman's rights convention held in Seneca Falls, New York. The exhibit will be open seven days a week through October of this year, with extended evening hours during July's Celebrate '98 festival.
If you're planning a summer or fall vacation to Seneca Falls, call 315-568-6488 for exhibit hours and an events calendar.
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
