Can you really retire?

You always have a job to do—for God.

I had no intention of staying home and becoming a couch potato.

For years I had been looking forward to retirement. At one point, I was offered a retirement enhancement package, which included a year's salary. But, after giving it serious consideration and attending retirement seminars, I decided that it would be wiser to wait a few more years. Then later, I felt disappointed by my decision. I felt I had been pressured by circumstances into working a few more years. Then a thought came that made me laugh: "Can a spiritual idea retire?"
