Diabetes cured through prayer
Twenty-seven years ago doctors sadly informed me that I had diabetes. During the years that followed, I obeyed the advice of the doctors by taking insulin, taking tablets to avoid side effects, testing my blood at regular intervals, and going in and out of hospitals.
One time when I was hospitalized I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner and told her of my refusal to submit to a surgical operation insisted upon by the attending physician. I explained to her that as an ordained minister I was familiar with metaphysics and felt certain that I could rely on spiritual means for healing. The practitioner came to my bedside at the hospital. With one prayerful treatment from her, the medical doctor's opinion was reversed. I left the hospital intact. The healing of sugar diabetes was far from complete, however.
