YOUR LETTERS

"Our view of young people is that they are polite, eager to learn, and a joy to associate with."

Congratulations on all the work that has gone into making the Sentinel more relevant and attractive. There is much to like. I would offer one small suggestion, however, namely dropping the heading "For kids" and replacing it with "For children," "For young people," or something else that avoids "kids." I think "kids" sounds kind of playgroundy.

My wife and I have both been schoolteachers and know that most of the children that we have taught have been thoughtful, kind, and a pleasure to be with.
