Lifetime reliance on God
A young person whom I was dating shared Christian Science with me. We were later married. More than forty years later, we're still married! I was very receptive to the truth of this religion. One of Christ Jesus' Beatitudes applies so well to me: "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" (Matt. 5:6).
Blessings have continuously been manifested in my life, as when I was healed of the smoking habit from the prayerful treatment of a Christian Science practitioner. I then applied for and was admitted to membership in The Mother Church. Shortly thereafter, I became an active member of a branch Church. Migraine headaches and a painful slipped vertebra were both corrected as I applied Christian Science in my daily life. I realized that God is not the author of disease or pain; His harmony is here, both now and always.
