An injured wrist healed spiritually
I remember learning early in my childhood that God sees all and He can see when you are bad; that God does not love bad little girls. I was not even aware of Christian Science at the time, and I was afraid of God. When things went wrong, I thought it was because I had messed up and God didn't love me now.
But when my life looked the bleakest, I was to learn that God really does love us all. The evidence of His love for me came in the form of my second husband, who had been raised as a Christian Scientist. I knew nothing about his religion, but felt his love in many ways through his patience, calmness, love of family, and his confidence in God's love. I was curious about his religion as a result, and in our discussions he'd always say, "Read Science and Health; it answers questions a lot better than I can."
