Child's quick healing through prayer
One day my family and I were going to play tennis, one of my favorite sports. We had fun playing for a few hours, but then my ankle started hurting. I tried to ignore it, but it was making it hard for me to run. I decided to take a short break and get a drink and rest. After a while I thought about God. I thought that God always took care of me, but it seemed that right now he wasn't!
I started to play tennis again and finished the game. But when I got home my ankle was bothering me even more. I told my dad about it. He comforted me and handed me a copy of Science and Health and encouraged me to ask God what to read.
Science and Health is just filled with healing ideas. I opened it up to the page where it says, "Error is not real, hence it is not more imperative as it hastens towards self-destruction" (p. 251).
