Thanks for the good movies
As our cover story points out, the media justly get a lot of criticism, and that includes the entertainment sector as well as the news. It's known that certain films have provoked acts of violence, for instance. Movies can plant images in thought that are demeaning or demoralizing, and that are hard to forget, But movies also have the potential to inspire for good. They can alert us to attitudes and behavior we want to avoid—or emulate. They can give us helpful insight into ourselves, and sometimes even into spiritual truths. The Sentinel feels it's worth noting a couple of good movies produced this past year.
The material world is like a stage set.
