HELD IN GOD'S ARMS
Do you remember as a child what great security and comfort you felt in the arms of a parent, grandparent, or loving adult holding you tightly? Do you ever wish you could feel that kind of peace again?
You can. Listen to the words of Moses, comforting the children of Israel: "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee" (Deut.33:27). The use of the word arms in this passage illustrates the strong, encircling care of God, the infinite Love which embraces and guards all His children. Everlasting means going on forever.
