Quick healing of injured ankle

My mom and I were on the way to my dance lessons in the afternoon. My name is Ashleigh, and I think for a ten-year-old I am pretty serious about dancing; I take ten classes a week.

In the Christian Science Sunday School I go to, we think a lot about the synonyms for God. They are Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, and Principle. I like Soul especially, I think I can express it when I dance.

On the way to my lessons, my mom asked me to put an envelope in a mail slot. I jumped out of the car to do it. When I came back, I twisted my ankle on the curb. It was extremely painful, and I could not stand on the foot. My mother suggested that we pray about it. My first reaction was no, that I would like to calm down a little first. My mother pointed out that we should attend to it before the idea of pain and injury could take over, and I thought that was a good idea. Mom reminded me that I could no more be twisted or hurt than a sunbeam could. I remem bered being smaller and sitting in the car and trying to rub out a bit of sunbeam that was coming in the window. I couldn't do it!
